Unac, which flows into the Una River in Martin Brod through incredible estuaries interspersed with waterfalls, cascades, and streams, is more like the scenery of a beautiful fairy tale than a place of unreal beauty at the end of the world. The river is rich in trout and, in the canyon section, grayling. The river also has a considerable population of California trout that has escaped from a local fish farm (not stocked). Its rapids hide specimens weighing over ten kilograms. A miraculous river with incredible landscapes that will provide you with so much laughter you can’t even imagine. It is ideal for beginners who need to boost their confidence and master the technique of fly fishing and fish handling, as well as for experienced anglers who want to try their luck with large catches. In addition to these huge specimens over 5 kg, which are not so common, the river is quite rich in large fish weighing 1-3 kg, and I can say it’s overly abundant in these smaller ones. Simply put, I have never heard “this is impossible” as many times as I have on this river, always accompanied by a big smile.
