Next to my Vrbas, my favorite river for fishing, Sana becomes a large and powerful river after merging with Ribnik, inhabited not only by Brown Trout and Grayling but also Danube Salmon. Downstream from the confluence with the Ribnik River, Sana is managed by the same company that oversees Ribnik, and this part is well preserved and rich in fish due to its proximity to Ribnik. This part serves as an excellent alternative to Ribnik, especially during peak season when there are many anglers on the water. In addition to the Upper Ribnik Fishing Zone, which is a C&R zone, we also have the Danube Salmon Fishing Zone on the Sana River in the town of Ključ, which besides grayling and trout, is rich in Danube Salmon. It is also C&R but allows spin fishing. In addition to these two zones, we can also offer you the wild sections of two canyons upstream and downstream of the town of Ključ, which, although slightly less abundant in fish, hide wild specimens of grayling over 60 cm, as well as trout and Danube Salmon. The landscapes, nature, and very few anglers make this experience unforgettable. Fishing is possible year-round in some parts, while seasonal fishing restrictions apply in wild waters.
